Earlier this month, PEZ Candy USA surprised 

collectors by announcing brand-new  

Toy Story PEZ dispensers 

on their social media channels, 

along with an exciting first look at the upcoming release.

 

Shortly thereafter, PEZ International (Europe) 

 followed with the official presentation of 

the dispensers in their newly released  

Marketing & Sales Catalogue, giving fans a more 

detailed preview of what’s coming.

 

The Toy Story franchise is one of the 

most successful animated series of all time.

 The films resonate with both children 

and adults by addressing surprisingly complex

 themes such as loss, identity, and growing up, 

capturing hearts all around the world.

This June, the long-awaited fifth installment

 of Toy Story will finally arrive in cinemas. 

Expectations are high that it will once again break records.

 

 The new film explores the theme

 “Toy Meets Tech”, 

as the toys face their greatest challenge yet: 

competition from electronic devices. 

Bonnie, now eight years old, increasingly neglects

 her classic toys in favor of a new frog-shaped 

tablet called Lilypad

 

We are absolutely delighted that PEZ has

 once again secured the Toy Story license, 

bringing these beloved characters back 

into the world of PEZ collecting.

 

We have now received high-quality images

 of the new Toy Story dispensers, 

and there’s even more exciting news to come, 

but more on that later. 

For now, we’re thrilled to present the 

dispensers to you in all their glory. 

Right from the start, it’s clear that all three characters, 

Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, 

feature completely new molds, and they look fantastic.

 

PEZ has chosen the popular head-only dispenser design.

The heads are impressively large, well detailed, 

and all three dispensers look outstanding.

 

The new dispensers are scheduled for release

in the second quarter in both the U.S. and Europe. 

To celebrate the launch of these new dispensers,

 PEZ International has generously provided us

 with an exclusive set (many thanks for that!),

 which we are happy to give away to our community.

One lucky winner will be the first to welcome 

all three brand-new Toy Story dispensers (loose)

 into their collection.

PEZ Plushies? The Image That Set the Collector Community on Fire!

Yesterday, even we were completely surprised 

when PEZ International shared a photo on their

 social media channels featuring a 

PEZ Astronaut dispenser from the Mars Mission series, alongside 

a pink PEZ Candy reimagined as a plush toy.

The entire community went absolutely wild!

We would have snatched those two adorable plushies 

out of their hands immediately if we could have.

 

After the initial excitement and heart-eyes all around, 

the questions started pouring in:

Will these plush toys actually be produced?
Will we be able to order them?
When will they be available?

So many questions were on everyone’s mind.

We reached out to PEZ on your behalf, 

and now we have the answers.

 

 Unfortunately, the news we’re about to 

share isn’t quite as joyful.

 

Plush toys have been incredibly trendy lately, 

not just since Labubu, 

with new social media trends popping up constantly. 

 

One of these is the “Mini-Me” trend, 

where users create 3D plush versions of themselves

 using AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or specialized apps.

 

It turns out that PEZ surprised us yesterday

 with exactly this kind of trend. 

The image that caused such a stir is, 

sadly, only an AI-generated image. 

And honestly, it is unbelievably well done.

 It would have worked perfectly as an April Fool’s joke.

  As much as it pains us to say it, no matter 

how badly we want them, 

it looks like we won’t be able to get our hands

 on these sweet plushies, at least for now.

 

However, there is still a small spark of hope. 

Even the marketing team at PEZ loves the AI-generated image.

With PEZ’s 100th anniversary coming up next year,

 and the marketing experts already 

searching for special ideas to celebrate 

this milestone, perhaps we can dare to hope

 for a cuddly PEZ plush in the future.

Sweet News from It’s Sugar: PAXTON Penguin Enters Presale Pudgy Penguins

What a thrill it has been. 

The moment the Pudgy Penguins team unveiled

 the brand-new Pudgy PEZ Penguin across 

their social media channels, our excitement spiked immediately. 

 

And then last week, when the news dropped

 that this charming little penguin would 

make its debut at the It’s Sugar pop-up during

 Miami Art Week, collector anticipation shot

 to an entirely new level.

 

Sure enough, the first ones popped up on 

online auction platforms within no time. 

But today, we finally got the news we 

were all waiting for-

 It’s Sugar has just announced the 

exclusive presale on their website.

 The sweet blue Pudgy Penguins 

Paxton PEZ dispenser 

 is now available for preorder here.

Thank you It's Sugar for the pictures ;) 

   Shipping won’t happen until after Christmas,

 but honestly, after waiting this long with so

 much excitement, a few extra days won’t hurt.

In the meantime, we can start picking 

out the perfect spot in our collections,

 because this charming little waddler 

will be joining our shelves very soon.

 If you’re scratching your heads about the name, 

you’re not alone!

 

 We were convinced it was Pengu all this time, 

and suddenly It's Sugar cheerfully tells us his name is 

PAXTON!

So yes, consider us just as baffled as you are. 

We have absolutely no idea how that happened,

 but here we are.

 

But honestly? Whether he’s Pengu or Paxton, 

we want him either way, and we couldn’t be

 happier about this new PEZ penguin

joining the lineup!

Two Hello Kitty Holiday Variations Found at Walmart!

Hello Kitty Holiday Variations at Walmart!

Keep an eye out for two different

versions of the Hello Kitty PEZ available at 

Walmart this holiday season! 

One has oval eyes, and the other has round eyes. 

The bows are slightly different in color, but

 the real giveaway is in the whiskers,  

one version features wispy whiskers, 

while the other has thicker ones.

They should be relatively easy to find if 

you’re persistent. I had to visit four different 

Walmarts in the Salem–Woodburn area of Oregon 

before finding both, so don’t give up — keep hunting!

first and sharing it on Facebook. 

At first glance, they look 

identical, but look closer, you’ll notice thicker whiskers, 

rounder vs oval eyes, and brighter green colors, 

all displayed together in one box.

Pengu Marches Into the Spotlight at San Diego Comic-Con- Detective_Comics__27 Finds Pengu at SDCC

Earlier this year, we introduced you to

Pengu the Penguin, and since then, 

the excitement has only grown. 

We were thrilled to share some of Pengu’s

 earliest concept art and production photos 

straight from the Sweets & Snacks Expo back in June.

Now, thanks to Detective_Comics__27 on Reddit r/pez, 

we have an exciting new update! 

Over the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 (SDCC),

snapped some fantastic photos of Pengu in the wild — 

and kindly gave us permission to share them with all of you.

Pengu is shaping up to be one of the most

A little over a year ago, I reached out to Joe and asked if he could create something to elevate my mini Barky’s so they would all be the same height in my cabinet.
