Double the Joy: PEZ Panda Bears Return to Spread Smiles for Mother's and Father's Day

It's well-established that the panda bear 

brings smiles to many faces.

 This was evident when the panda bear

 returned to our collections for the first time

 in many years in spring 2020, 

much to our delight. 

It was introduced as a limited edition 

in both Europe and the USA.

In April 2021, we excitedly announced 

the arrival of the new European 

PEZ Crystal Glitter Convention Panda Bears. 

Due to the widespread popularity of the dispensers,

 PEZ International decided to produce the panda

 as a European convention dispenser for 

hosts across the continents. 

Between 2021 and 2023, there were 16 different

 Convention Panda bears. 

However, the 16th from Indonesia never made 

an appearance, presumably lost 

somewhere along the way.

Given that PEZ designed the panda bear mold

 and holds the license for it, 

combined with the immense fan base

 worldwide, PEZ has devised 

a fantastic plan to revive it.

Let's honor our mothers and fathers with 

the delightful PEZ crystal panda bears,

 bringing smiles to the faces of our beloved

 parents on Mother's Day and Father's Day.

The Crystal Panda Queen, designed for mothers, 

features sweet hearts in her eyes 

symbolizing love, gratitude, and beauty, 

along with the

 "Best Mom Ever" 

print on the stem. 

Meanwhile, the Crystal Panda Father, expressing 

strength, love, and happiness, 

has stars in his eyes, accompanied by the 

"Best Dad Ever" 

print on the stem.

 

All of this is enhanced in Europe with the addition 

of Nashi PEZ Candies.

Wow, Pez Palz, the past few weeks have 

been a whirlwind of excitement!

On one hand, PEZ Candy Inc. has

 officially unveiled new photos showcasing

 their upcoming range. 

On the other hand, so much rumors are swirling, 

and the Sweets and Snacks Expo is just around the corner.

One thing is abundantly clear:

 it's time to spruce up those display cases 

and rearrange those dispensers! 

With the influx of new dispensers hitting the shelves,

 space will be at a premium. 

PEZ teased us with their 

"Out of this World" 

slogan at the end of last year, and they've set

 the bar high for themselves with their annual goal.

 While they may not feature a new mold, 

these redesigned dispensers are 

undeniably sweet and eye-catching.

PEZ Presenter Girls

 Cherry PEZ Retro Girl has already made

 her debut, joining 

Lemon PEZ Girl (already released) 

and the forthcoming 

Orange retro PEZ Girl.

But could there be yet another new 

PEZ Girl in the works before Orange 

PEZ Girl makes her appearance?

Very soon we all will be able to know and see her!

Spongebob Squarepants

In honor of Spongebob's 25th anniversary,

 PEZ will soon be gracing store shelves

 with some fantastic dispensers. 

Smiling Sponge and Nerdy SpongeBob, 

along with Patrick, will be making their 

way to stores in Europe and the USA. 

Gary will join the lineup in Europe 

alongside the other three dispensers,

 while in the USA, he'll first appear in 

the Pineapple shaped Anniversary Tin alongside 

an Exclusive SILVER Spongebob in September.

We had the pleasure of admiring

 the new Crystal Glitter Ball featuring 

the American flag and fireworks,

 already showcased at the Visitors Center. 

Set to be released next month (May), 

just in time for Memorial Day.

But wait, there's more! 

For those not keen on the ball mold, 

PEZ Candy Inc. has something special in store.

 To celebrate Independence Day,

another USA-themed dispenser is in the works, 

guaranteed to delight (USA only).

 

Surprise 

And we also have encouraging words 

for our European PEZ collectors, 

PEZ has come up with something great

 for them too, and this dispenser will 

only be available for Europeans.

 In celebration of its 30th anniversary

 this December 2024, and coinciding

 with the release of the new live-action movie

 The Lion King, 

PEZ is reintroducing 

Simba, Pumbaa, Timon, and Mufasa 

to supermarket shelves in May/June, 

both in Europe and the USA.

The Sweets and Snacks Expo, 

running from May 14th to 16th, 2024, 

marks a pivotal event for PEZ Candy Inc. 

and collectors alike. 

Beyond facilitating crucial sales and

directions and upcoming dispensers and licenses.

 Let's anticipate the unveiling of the

 special PEZ limited edition expo dispenser

 this time around; one thing is certain, 

it will be highly sought after. 

With an edition size of only 1000 pieces, 

the appeal is undeniable.

Care Bears, 

with their colorful and friendly demeanor, 

are cherished parts of our PEZ collections. 

Their journey doesn't end there; 

in June, another fantastic (online only) dispenser

 will join the lineup. 

And let me tell you, this one is MEGA in execution.

Get ready, because Despicable ME 4 is

 hitting cinemas in July! 

The hilarious antics of the 

Minions 

 are set to captivate audiences young and old worldwide.

It's fantastic news that PEZ has once again

 secured the rights to this franchise. 

While the images are still under wraps due 

to licensing restrictions, we can reveal that

Tim and Mel will be joined by two new characters. 

Stay tuned, as we hope to share the

 official pictures with you very soon.

Following the revision of Disney's 

Mickey and Minnie molds in 2020 

and Goofy last year, it's now  

Donald and Daisy's turn.

 The timing couldn't be better, 

as Donald celebrates his 90th anniversary this year. 

Both characters will be available in 

both the USA and Europe. 

Unfortunately, the new Mickey and Minnie PEZ clips 

will only be available to our 

American PEZ friends (June 2024).

Harry Potter

Our American PEZ collector friends are getting

 a new Hogwarts PEZ Jersey dispenser 

added to the Harry Potter range. 

 June/July

 

PEZ is bringing summer vibes once again, 

following the success of the 

PEZ Summer Flamingos and 

Crystal PEZImals. 

This year, get ready for a 

 Mystery Hawaiian-themed 

dispenser that will transport you to 

a well-deserved summer vacation.

 And in July, keep your eyes peeled 

for the Moana PEZ range, 

featuring two entirely new dispensers.

  Princess Tiana, 

showcased at last year's 

Sweets and Snacks Expo, 

will finally join the PEZ Princess range in August.

a mega-successful manga series worldwide,

 had conquered children's and teenagers' 

rooms in a flash, 

with Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke 

the long-awaited Naruto PEZ dispensers

 will be released in the fourth quarter.

 As Christmas approaches, 

PEZ has two new dispensers for the 

holiday range. Keep an eye out for a revised 

Elf.

And a new Nutcracker (yes, you read that right!)

—available exclusively in a tube and for now, 

only in the USA.

Celebrating 35 Years of PEZ Passion: John Laspina's Price Guide Legacy Price Guide to PEZ

John Laspina has been a stalwart presence in the PEZ community since its inception, and this year holds special significance! It marks the 35th anniversary of the sole PEZ price guide—an incredible milestone when you consider that John has diligently produced these invaluable guides every year for three and a half decades, resulting in an impressive 271-page tome!

Moreover, it's worth noting that the quality of paper used for these guides is exceptional, boasting a smooth texture that allows for easy erasing—making pencil the preferred writing tool. With such a vast array of PEZ dispensers to keep track of, this comprehensive guide is an indispensable companion for any avid collector.

My new price guide is back from the printers. It will be $36 shipped. Why the increase in price? My printer costs increased yet again from last year. Plus additional pages and the increase cost in shipping them also increased. The price guide weighs over 1 pound.
My new 2024 Price Guide #35 has 271 pages, 10 more than last year. The popularity of Pez continued to soar in 2023. A lot of that can still be contributed to the Pez Outlaw movie on Netflix. The result is that the prices of Pez dispensers have continued to increase in price, similar to the 1990s. All this has been captured in my new price guide. 

Whats new in my new 2024 pez price guide?
As stated above, we saw LOTS of price increases the past year. Dispenser values have been updated to reflect these increases. Lots of new Pez dispenser releases from the middle of 2023 thru the beginning of 2024 are included (that I knew of). Also a few variations from earlier years have been added.
Typos fixed. New typos unfortunately added. No matter how many times we proof read it, we find little errors. Hopefully we found most of them.

There will still be no pics in the guide. I have been working with 2 others to do a non-pez pic book. Once we release it, I will begin the pez pic price guide.

Where in the universe are all the PEZ Mars Rovers?

When PEZ Candy Inc. introduced the 

Space Mission dispensers in their 

shop's party box for sale, 

a surge of demand emerged unlike anything

 seen in a long time for party packs.

It seemed as though everyone was eager

 to add these dispensers to their collections at last.

However, when the deliveries arrived, 

disappointment ensued as it became apparent 

that the party box of 12 often contained 

only one or none of the coveted Mars Rover dispensers.

European PEZ collectors, finding the 

dispensers in stores without the 

Mars Rover variant, began to question

 its scarcity, pondering if it would incite a 

fierce battle among collectors.

This uncertainty prompted us to reach out to PEZ 

for clarification on the Mars Rover dispensers. 

 

PEZ confirmed that there were minor delays, 

resulting in initial deliveries either lacking

 the dispenser entirely or including it sparingly. 

However, they assured us that the dispenser 

is now being included as standard in subsequent orders.

We hope this post provides some reassurance, 

and we extend our best wishes for your 

success and enjoyment in acquiring these 

sought-after additions to your collections.

Wizarding World- The Debut of the Harry Potter Hogwarts Sweater PEZ Dispenser

It became evident to all of us upon the 

debut of the NHL Canada Hockey Jerseys

 last November that this wouldn't mark the 

final iteration of the new jersey design.

 

 Just recently, PEZ Candy Inc. unveiled the new 

Harry Potter 

Hogwarts 

Jersey under the

 "Coming Soon" section.

As is often the case with matters of taste, 

opinions were divided upon the introduction

 of the new Harry Potter Hogwarts dispenser. 

While some embraced it with enthusiasm,

 others among the PEZ collecting community 

expressed disappointment.

However, it's important to recognize that 

the dispenser is a licensed product,

 bound by clear specifications and 

guidelines from the licensor.

We're excited to present the new dispenser 

on it's Blister Card packaging, as we believe it 

offers a fresh perspective on its appearance.

The coordination between the gold accents

 on the blister card and the Harry Potter logo,

 complemented by the gold stem, 

along with the prominent blue PEZ logo 

and Hogwarts stem print,

To us, it resembles a work of art,

Reviving Nostalgia: The Story of PEZ's Iconic Sissi and Mozart Dispensers with NEW 2024 updated release

I vividly recall the autumn of 2007 when the two iconic 

 Mozart and Sissi 

PEZ dispensers 

made their grand debut alongside 

the trio of Mickey Mouse dispensers, 

marking PEZ's 80th anniversary. 

The unveiling sparked a frenzy within the PEZ community

 as enthusiasts scrambled to acquire these 

coveted dispensers, which were fetching 

exorbitant prices on eBay at the time.

Securing these dispensers proved to be 

a challenge even in Austria, 

where they were exclusively available 

through Confisserie Heindl. 

Each new shipment would vanish from 

shelves in a blink, perpetuating the scarcity 

and escalating demand.

Fast forward to 2008, and the reemergence 

of the Mozart and Sissi dispensers as special 

editions for the NH Hotel Group, 

accompanied by the NH Pal Boy on card, 

added another layer of exclusivity. 

Adorned with the NH Hotel insignia, these 

dispensers were solely distributed in 

NH Hotels in Vienna and Salzburg, 

becoming prized possessions within the 

collecting community, fetching values of $100-150.

In a delightful turn of events, 

PEZ revived the beloved Sissi and Mozart 

dispensers in 2017, presenting them in a 

charming "I Love Austria" gift box. 

Wunderkinder, the creative minds behind many

 PEZ projects, generously allowed the public 

a glimpse into the production process through 

a captivating video showcasing the making 

of the Sissi and Mozart PEZ gift box.

With the lifting of Corona restrictions 

and the resurgence of travel and tourism, 

PEZ's decision to reintroduce these iconic

 dispensers (same mold) is a welcomed one. 

Accompanying the revival is a splendid

 new PEZ blister card adorned with quintessential 

Austrian motifs such as the famous 

Sacher cake, apple strudel, Vienna landmarks,

 the violin, SKI, and the gentian flower, 

all complemented by the endearing 

"I love Austria" heart.

For collectors and travelers seeking a 

quintessential Austrian souvenir, 

the availability of these dispensers on the 

iconic blister card is indeed a cause for celebration. 

They will soon be accessible in key tourism 

destinations across Austria.

A small number of the 

Sissi PEZ dispenser will be also offered in 

PEZ European Online Store.
