My son, Sergio Blanco, was in his final year of high school

when his Audiovisual class assigned a slow-motion project.

His brother, Marcos, had previously used a Playmobil figure

for a similar project, so Sergio turned to me for ideas.

After learning what slow-motion involves, I suggested using
the bees from my collection. What better story than capturing
the moment a bee communicates to the others where to find pollen?

The process of moving each character centimeter by
centimeter was painstaking, and it gave me a deep appreciation
for those who create these intricate videos. To everyone out there
making these kinds of masterpieces,
my heartfelt congratulations—you have my utmost admiration!
