Yesterday, PEZ Candy Inc. surprised us
all by posting a picture in their
social media stories showing a jumble
of Shopkins, Toy Story, and Minions
PEZ dispensers.
While this might seem ordinary at first glance,
we quickly noticed that all
the Shopkins dispensers featured a stem print
(the "S" logo),
which hasn't been released in this version
in either Europe or the USA.
Our collecting friends from various
communities noticed this as well,
sparking curiosity about whether these
stem print versions might soon be available on the market.
Naturally,
our curiosity led us to dig a little deeper.
The dispensers in the photo are samples,
as it was taken in the PEZ samples room.
Whether the lack of release was a decision
by PEZ or influenced by the licensor,
the exact reason remains a mystery.
However, it’s clear that PEZ currently has no plans
to release the dispensers with the stem print.
But there's no need to be disappointed—
there are plenty of exciting
new releases coming later this year.
By the way, we would love to spend a
night in the Samples Room.
