Today we have incredible news for you!
It will probably be one of the
biggest PEZ surprises next
year
- the Asterix & Obelix PEZ dispensers are
returning to the PEZ range
in 2023!
Asterix (Astérix) is the most successful
French comic series created in
1959 by author René Goscinny and
illustrator
Albert Uderzo.
Since the introduction of the first Asterix
stories at the
beginning of the 1960s,
a total of 39 comic books have been
published in more
than 100 languages and dialects -
plus numerous feature films in the past.
At the beginning of 2023,
Asterix and Obelix will return
to the movie theaters
with the
real film adventure
"In the Middle Kingdom",
but Netflix has also
announced
a new Asterix animation series for 2023.
While the first Asterix PEZ dispensers were released
in
Europe by PEZ in the mid-70s and
are now unaffordable for most of us,
the
remake dispensers of the Asterix series,
which were also only released in
Europe in
the late 90s, are an integral part of our collections.
In 2023 the PEZ dispensers are returning
at the first
quater of 2023 (Euro release)
we can add
Asterix (red stem)
Obelix (blue stem) and
Idefix (white stem)
to our
collections with joyful anticipation.
We would have loved to have shown you the
official photos
today, unfortunately
PEZ International is still holding them back,
but don't
worry as soon as we get them you'll
be the first to see them.
