Netflix Money Heist PEZ Dispenser(s) coming in September?!....

 When the new PEZ Internatinal email newsletter (Europe) 

landed in our inbox on Friday, 

all of our gazes focused on a certain picture.

 

Something mega exciting was announced by 

PEZ International with an unrecognizable picture 

for September 2021.

Curiosity kills us every time ;D 

and prompted us to take a closer look 

at the matter and share our information with you.

Why are we so firmly convinced of it?

What are the pros?

 

As with Stranger Things, Dreamworks Spirit, and the 

new The Office dispensers (September USA release), 

these are Netflix Original Series, 

PEZ and Netflix like to go a common path with the 

publication of the dispensers or the

 acquisition of the licenses.

According to Netflix, Money Heist was at 

times the most internationally-watched 

non-English-language series on Netflix.

The series has generated a lot of talk and 

was celebrated iconically across Europe.

Own Money Heist online stores and various 

merch products are offered worldwide.

The series fits perfectly with the iconic PEZ image!

 

Many enthusiastic fans are already waiting for 

the beginning of the 5th season (also the last season), 

which will be broadcast at the beginning of September 2021, 

so the announced release date from PEZ Int.

 fits perfectly with the start of the new season.

 

And to go back to the PEZ picture mentioned above, 

the dispensers are not clearly visible, 

but what can be seen is that the dispensers are red 

and have something like hoods over their heads, 

which also corresponds to the characters of the series.

Gregor P from the PEZ Info Austria FB group found another clue, 

the photo was given the file name

 "LCDP teaser” 

by PEZ International, which cannot be a coincidence, 

as the original title of the series is 

LA CASA DE PAPEL.

We are convinced that the marketing team 

from PEZ International will soon sweeten 

our lives with further teasers until the final appearance.

We were delighted to admire the new

 which has already been showcased at the Visitors Center.

BEST OF 2022! OUR 2022 PEZ PICTORIAL

 Unbelievable how fast time flies, 

2022 is gone, it was a challenging year for everyone!

PEZ also had to do some special tasks, 

delays in the supply chain, 

global price increases are just a few of the 

challenges they had to face.

Nevertheless, they again had a lineup that leaves

 nothing to be desired, again more then 

100 new dispensers for our collection.

PEZ knows how to captivate everyone 

and offers dispensers for the whole family and all age groups.

It has been a tradition for us since 2014 that we close the 

last year with an annual PEZ pictorial to give you a 

precise overview or a help list of which dispensers 

have appeared in the last year.

As in previous years, 

PEZ Candy Inc. was ahead in 2022, 

with 85 new dispensers for the USA 

and 53 new dispensers for Europe, 

our American PEZ friends definitely have the better cards.

A second vision that particularly strikes us, 

never before have there been so many 

online only/exclusives dispensers as in 2022.

To describe it in more detail, 

a total of 16 dispensers that were only sold online 

(with Money Heist) 

of which 7 dispensers were only available 

from PEZ Candy Inc. (USA).

PEZ apparently liked it, especially since each of 

us bought something to go with the online-only dispenser.

We can definitely expect something 

special for Valentine's Day, Easter, etc. again in 2023.

We would also like to use our post to 

thank PEZ for a great 2022 year, 

for the great spirit they have, 

to all the creative minds, 

and the marketing experts, 

to the graphic designers, 

to everyone who packs and sends our parcels.

PHOTY 2021! Thank you of the bottom of my Heart!

 

Even a few days after my win, my feelings 

are still indescribable.

I would like to take this opportunity again to say 

thank you from the bottom of my heart ....

How it all started ... 

a few days before PEZAMANIA took place, 

I was invited to a Zoom Meeting on a false pretext, 

I only received a few keywords ...

 

To be honest, actually I'm not a big fan of the zoom meetings, 

that's why I had never attended one before.

It was about one o'clock in the morning

when I received the link for the meeting, actually 

I was already relatively tired but still looking foward

 to the meeting and then we started ...

 

Then the big surprise - 

suddenly I was the center of attention. 

I was having a hard time following all the participants 

because the sound quality wasn't the very best, 

but when my name was dropped as PHOTY and almost all of the previous PHOTY were there,

I was completely lost, 

of course, and thought I was going to faint. :)

 

Due to the distance, the time difference 

and because I unfortunately had no opportunity to be present 

at PEZAMANIA, the committee decided to inform me 

via the zoom metting in advance.

 

Of course I had to promise that I wasn't allowed to 

reveal anything until Pezamania. 

That was also a great gesture, 

so I was able to prepare a little what I really wanted to say.

Then the big day, I got a video call at midnight my time 

and was able to watch the announcement live.

It was so breathtaking!

As already mentioned in my speech live at PEZAMANIA.

 

It was neither my goal and I, did never in my life have 

expected to be able and namend on the list with 

all these wonderful PHOTY winners and to become the 

first international winner. 

That fills me with pride and my emotions 

cannot be expressed in words.

 

This will always be a very special moment in my life.

 

It was maybe a surprise for one or the other 

and a bit disturbing and weird, 

a collector has been honored who could not be present, 

who is somewhere 10,000 kilometers away from us 

and who speaks to us via mobile phone ........ 

and yet all of these is again the best evidence for it ...

PEZ and our hobby have no limits!

 

PEZ and our hobby bring people together, 

no matter where, 

no matter what skin, color,

 religion, weight, gender, sexual orientation, 

political opinion, 

we all love and share the 

same beloved hobby!

We all have found friends trough our hobby, 

we feel, celebrate, cry and share our worries together,

 all of this and everyone of you makes 

our hobby so special, and I'm so happy to be a part of it!

From the beginning it was important to me to bundle 

all information on the blog. 

With all the different social media channels 

it is easy to lose the overview and flow of information.

The top priority for me was always to approach new collectors. 

The credo was, if you bring a new collector to our hobby, 

then you have already won. 

This credo has and will always motivate me!

 

I woud like to thank the committee 

and all the wonderful 23! previous PHOTY winners!

Exciting News Coming Soon at ISM Cologne

Today we Learn that the New Angry Birds Interactive will be presented in Cologne, Germany ISM the Largest Trade Fair for sweets and snacks on

 January 31 2016.  

Each Game will can be downloaded via code.
Pez is an exclusive partner with Rovio and for 2016 Angry Birds Pez dispensers will come with a code attached, with this you get free access to the New Pez game.

This is a new and exciting way for Pez to expand into the mobile market. 

Planned for the second half of 2016 will be a Breaking Bricks Game using Pez Candy.

PEZ HEAD OF THE YEAR!!! CONGRATULATIONS GHOSTY!!

Yesterday in the car I heard the news. My dear friend Nenad and co-creator of PEZ PALZ, better known as our PEZ Ghosty was just named PEZ HEAD of the YEAR! Joe Pavarati presented the award via zoom to Ghosty from PEZAMANIA. Ghosty is the first ever International winner of the award. 

Long before we met, Ghosty was busy jet setting all over the world searching for PEZ high and low. He has met so many people in our hobby and doing so much to generously spread his love for our little candy dispensers to others. On Monday February 10th, 2014 Ghosty published a rundown of his trip to the French Gathering hosted by Christian on a new blog and that triggered his love of blogging about PEZ and sharing everything he knows about PEZ with the world. 1,282 posts later the rest is history without Ghosty PEZ PALZ would not be even close to AWESOME! With partners Willi and Yasin the VIP gathering was created and two very successful gatherings happened in Vienna, Austria in 2015 and 2019. 

Since mid 2019 my medical conditions have worsened and Ghosty has taken over all of the functions of PEZ PALZ. He does it all, FB, IG, +all the other social media, he collects all the news, sources the photos, does the design +++ It’s no small task it takes long hours and he loves it.  Nenad has a special spirit, dedication, work ethic, and love of PEZ like no other in the world. You have brought so much joy to the hobby for so many. No doubt you are a very deserving winner! 

Nenad, I am so happy that you have won this award, it is the highest honor in our hobby. Congratulations!

PEZHEAD OF THE YEAR 2022! Congratulation Rick M.

In 2017 I was lucky enough to get to know 

Rick M. personally and he immediately impressed me with

his open and communicative manner, 

not only that he is a 

very friendly and lovable person,

 no, he gives you the feeling that you really do 

get along been friends for years. 

 

Rick M is known to many as the host of the 

world's largest PEZAMANIA PEZ Convention 

and there could not have been a better time to salute him,

and mark his final as the PEZAMANIA Convention Organiser, 

with the PHOTY trophy for all the love and 

amazing work he has done the past few years.

 

  As many of you may remember, last year 2021

 I was awarded with the PEZ Head of the Year trophy.

It is the highest award the community can give and

 I am so happy that the trophy is now changing

 from me to my dear friend Rick.

 

Dear Rick, thank you so much for all the great 

work you and Sue have done for so many 

PEZ collectors, you so much deserve the trophy.

 

 

BIG CHANGE IN 2023 !  

With the last PEZAMANIA event held by Rick, 

it also means a big change for the event itself.

 

  NEW SPIRIT!  

Landon P and Morgan R, familiar to all of us from 

the much-loved Virtual PEZ Convention,

 together take on the challenging task 

of serving as hosts for the PEZAMANIA Convention.  

The young dynamic team has already set milestones 

in the organization of the VPC and the 

Chartity campaigns they have set up are really impressive.  

 

Welcome Landon and Morgan as new hosts,

thank you for 

taking on such a responsible job.

OUR 2020 PEZ PICTORIALS...plus the 1st quarter 2021 PEZ releases...

Happy New Year PEZPALZ!
Hopefully you had a pleasant and relaxed Holidays!
We all agree that 2020 was a crazy year!
But if we say from the heart of a collector that it was 

one of the best PEZ years of all time,

 then you will surely all agree with us.

For many years we have wanted more 

Limited Editions, Crystals and golden PEZ dispensers 

and PEZ has shipped us all in 2020.
121 new PEZ dispensers 

were officially introduced by PEZ in 2020.
This means

59 dispensers have been sold only in the USA

20 dispensers in Europe and

42 dispensers have been sold in the USA and in Europe.

We got 17  crystal dispensers and 14 Limited Edition dispensers.

We used the holidays intensively and, as in previous years,

 put together all the wonderful PEZ appearances

 from 2020 in our pictorial for you.
But not only that, of course the Barkys must not be missing, 

and our double cards pictorial is now up to date.
We have also looked ahead and put together 

a checklist for the first quarter of 2021.

Hopfeully your like our new pictorials,
