Halloween Countdown: PEZ Spooktacular Release on the way!

With the Orange PEZ Girl we have received 

an incredible 16 online-only 

limited edition PEZ dispensers so far this year.

Number 17 is already produced and 

on its way, and PEZ is set to deliver something breathtaking!

With Halloween just around the corner, 

PEZ is once again celebrating with a special dispenser.

Now, let's address the big question—

NO, 

we are not getting a new mold this time

. Instead, PEZ is bringing a beloved

 and popular dispenser that collectors adore.

What really excites us, though, is that this dispenser

 has been highly anticipated by the 

PEZ communities for several years. 

And soon, it will finally become a reality!

While we can't reveal all the details 

just yet, 

we can say that the new Halloween dispenser 

will blow your mind and you will be very excited.

Both American and European 

collectors can rejoice.

But that's not all—PEZ has a spectacular 

lineup of special dispensers planned

 for the autumn and Christmas season. 

By the end of the year, our list of this year's

PEZ special dispensers will exceed 23+!

There's much more to come, 

and you're going to be amazed.

USA Collectors! The new Crystal Purple Anniversary PEZ Hello Kitty is here, plus Moana and Giant Pikachu...

The wait is finally over for our American

 friends—PEZ Candy Inc. has released the 

Purple Crystal Anniversary 

Hello Kitty dispenser 

(available here)!

As we mentioned on our blog, unlike in Europe, 

where it's offered in a gift box, 

the USA version comes on a specially

 designed blister card, 

the dispenser with print is the same like in Europe.

Hello Kitty dispensers, with their diverse

 characters and prints, have grown into one

 of the largest series in our collections. 

We're thrilled that PEZ has brought this 

fantastic Hello Kitty dispenser to their shop 

as an online exclusive for the 50th anniversary.

We’re celebrating this dispenser, and it 

now proudly takes pole position on our 

Top Ten Hello Kitty PEZ list.

The Secret Stem Print: Unveiling the Mystery of the Shopkins PEZ Dispensers

Yesterday, PEZ Candy Inc. surprised us

 all by posting a picture in their 

social media stories showing a jumble 

of Shopkins, Toy Story, and Minions 

PEZ dispensers. 

While this might seem ordinary at first glance, 

we quickly noticed that all 

the Shopkins dispensers featured a stem print 

(the "S" logo), 

which hasn't been released in this version 

in either Europe or the USA.

Our collecting friends from various 

communities noticed this as well, 

sparking curiosity about whether these

 stem print versions might soon be available on the market.

Naturally, 

our curiosity led us to dig a little deeper. 

The dispensers in the photo are samples, 

as it was taken in the PEZ samples room. 

Whether the lack of release was a decision 

by PEZ or influenced by the licensor, 

the exact reason remains a mystery.

 However, it’s clear that PEZ currently has no plans

 to release the dispensers with the stem print.

But there's no need to be disappointed—

there are plenty of exciting 

new releases coming later this year. 

By the way, we would love to spend a 

night in the Samples Room.

WOW! New PEZ Presenter Girl LED Neon Sign now available.

Some time ago we noticed the 

PEZ Presenter Girl LED Neon Sign 

in the PEZ Visitor Center and immediately

 we had hearts in our eyes. 

This great piece is now available for 

(almost) everyone's collection, 

PEZ surprised us by putting it in their online store.

 The price is also surprising, at $950.

 The Neon Presenter Girl is probably a 

custom-made product and that justifies 

the relatively high price. 

Be that as it may, it is truly a great piece.

More to come? Beyond the Stars: The Rise of the PEZ Space Mission

When the PEZ Space/Mars Mission was

 first presented to the public and collectors

 in August 2023 at the 

V.I.P. PEZ Collectors' Meeting in Vienna, Austria,

 the dispensers were immediately 

embraced by enthusiasts.

By December 2023, when the rocket was 

released as a special crystal version 

for New Year's Eve, the excitement

surrounding this collection had reached new heights.

 The limited availability of the Mars Mission 

dispenser in its initial release caused a wave

 of anticipation and anxiety among collectors.

This entire experience has deepened 

our connection to the range, and now, 

almost all collectors proudly have all

 five dispensers in their collections. 

We eagerly hope that this range will 

continue to expand in the near future, with 

even more dispensers finding their way 

to our display cases from the vastness of space.

Rumors are circulating that PEZ is 

considering expanding the range

 in 2025 to include at least 

one new dispenser, 

possibly with a new mold. 

However, nothing has been confirmed,

 so we must patiently wait for official news.

On a positive note, 

it’s worth mentioning that PEZ holds

 the licensing rights for the

 Space/Mars Mission dispensers. 

Since this series was designed and developed

 in-house by PEZ, there’s potential 

for future releases in different colors 

or print variations. 

Rest assured, if there are any official updates,

 you’ll hear it from us first.

Block by Block: The Epic Arrival of Minecraft PEZ Dispensers Steve, Creeper, Alex, Enderman and Pig.

Minecraft is a sandbox computer game 

originally developed by Swedish programmer

 Markus "Notch" Persson and his company Mojang, 

which he founded for this purpose.

Minecraft was first released on May 17, 2009,

 as an early access title for PC and was 

subsequently released for various other 

platforms and game consoles.

In the game, players create constructions

 such as buildings or circuits from 

mostly cube-shaped elements in a freely 

accessible, procedurally generated 

world that also consists of cubes.

Minecraft has been highly praised by critics, received 

numerous awards, and is considered one 

of the most influential computer games of the 2010s. 

It is the best-selling computer game to date, 

with more than 300 million copies sold. 

With over 140 million monthly active users,

 it is also the computer game with the most active players.

The game quickly captured the hearts of children, 

young people, and gamers around the world.

Coming soon! New Minecraft PEZ assortment with 8 new dispensers!

PEZ is known for securing successful licenses, 

and with Minecraft, PEZ has once again 

landed a great new range. 

Starting soon, we will have the opportunity

 to add eight new cube-shaped Minecraft PEZ dispensers

 to our collections. 

The new range, which includes 

Steve, 

Creeper, 

Pig, 

and Alex,

 will be available both individually on 

blister cards and together in twin packs 

with Steve & Creeper and Alex & Pig.

 PEZ will also soon release the 

Minecraft gift box with 

Steve, Creeper, Alex, and Enderman. 

The great thing about this gift box is that the 

stems on these dispensers are printed, and Enderman 

will only be available in this gift box.

Rumors suggest that when the new Minecraft film 

is released in April next year, this PEZ range will be

 expanded with an additional dispenser.

For the time being, the dispensers are only 

available in the USA, but there are rumors that 

a Minecraft range will also be available from 

PEZ International (Europe) in 2025.

We are excited to add these eight new 

PEZ Minecraft dispensers to our collections all at once. 

Oh God, where am I going to make room for them?

PEZ Wonderland: Shanghai's New Collector's Destination

 Recently, news spread through the PEZ community

 about a fantastic new PEZ Shop that had 

opened in Shanghai, China. 

Thanks to our PEZ friends 

Barry Sch. and JP Summer, 

we've received pictures and videos from

 this exciting new location.

The shop is located on 

East Nanjing Pedestrian Street in Shanghai, 

and even from the street above, 

the yellow PEZ logo is visible from afar. 

At the entrance, 

life-size PEZ dispensers of characters 

like Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse, Ariel, 

and Woody welcome visitors, 

creating perfect photo opportunities. 

The entire shop interior is dedicated 

to our beloved hobby, showcasing not only 

the history of PEZ but also fascinating 

facts displayed on walls and neon signs. 

Alongside local Shanghai candies, 

the shop features a wide selection of 

PEZ dispensers and candies from the 

PEZ International range. 

Videos reveal various twin packs, Minions 

and Barbie tins, and all currently 

available European dispensers.

We are especially charmed by the PEZ merchandise

 items and the impressive large PEZ 

cardboard boxes. 

The shop looks absolutely amazing, 

and if you find yourself in Shanghai,

 it should definitely be on your must-visit list. 

If only it were a bit closer and easier to reach!

A Holiday Surprise: The Exclusive 2023 PEZ Snowman Dispensers for PEZ/Haas Employees

If there's one thing we've learned over 

the years in our hobby, it's that

 it’s full of surprises. 

 

And once again, PEZ has managed 

to surprise us, this time with two special snowmen 

dispensers made by PEZ Europe last autumn 

that we hadn't seen before.

Thanks to Lazlo's photos, we're excited 

to share more about these unique snowmen.

As most of you know, the European headquarters 

of PEZ and Haas are located in Traun, Austria, 

while the production factory for our beloved 

dispensers and candies is in Hungary.

Last year, a special treat was created for 

the employees of PEZ/Haas in both Austria and Hungary. 

The company produced a snowman dispenser 

with a printed message bearing Christmas wishes

"Frohe Weihnachten 2023"

 in German and 

"Boldog Karácsonyt 2023"

 in Hungarian

which was given exclusively to the employees 

in both countries as Christmas gift.

So, what makes this dispenser so special? 

Firstly, it features a stem print and was 

released on a blister card in very limited quantities. 

Secondly, the blister card is blank on the back, 

lacking any country-specific production 

details or compositions. 

For the employees, this might just be a simple dispenser, 

but for collectors, these features 

significantly increase its value.

Even though these dispensers will never 

make it into our collections, 

we wanted to share their story with you.

 

We’re happy for the PEZ employees who 

received them as gifts from the company.

One has to be PEZ employee 

to recive something cool like this. ;)

Connecticut's Lifeline: The PEZ Puck with a Purpose, Responsible Play the CT Way

Let the search begin, 

because a new PEZ puck has been discovered!

 

The new PEZ puck, made by PEZ Candy Inc, 

features the state of Connecticut design with the message 

"Responsible Play the CT Way"

in bold red and black.

But this PEZ isn't just about collecting,

 it's about connecting.

The dispenser promotes CCPG, Connecticut's 

only 24/7 gambling addiction hotline that 

offers support via phone, chat and text, 

and reminds people that help is always 

available for those who need it.

If rumors are true, this special dispenser 

will likely be given out at conventions, 

but ultimately it's probably too early to confirm.

One thing is for sure, by putting 

the dispenser on their shelves, 

collectors are also spreading a message of 

hope and support for the community.
