30 Years of “Catch ’Em All”

Pokémon Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary!

 

On February 27, 1996, 

the very first Pokémon games,

 “Red” and “Green”, were released for 

the Game Boy in Japan. 

 

The titles reached the United States in 

1998 and Europe in 1999, marking the beginning 

of a global phenomenon.

Created in 1996 by Satoshi Tajiri,

 the imaginative world of Pokémon, 

home to beloved characters like Pikachu and Charmander, 

 quickly expanded far beyond video games. 

Over the past three decades, Pokémon 

has become a worldwide cultural icon.

 

For us PEZ collectors, 2001 was a milestone year:  

PEZ released its first Pokémon dispensers 

featuring Pikachu, Meowth, Mew, Psyduck, and Koffing. 

With this series, many of us were able to add 

our very first Pokémon dispensers 

to our collections.

Over the years, PEZ has continued to 

delight collectors with countless Pokémon releases, 

most notably, of course, numerous variations of Pikachu.

 

Many of our collections also include a wide

 variety of mini Pokémon dispensers

 produced by Bandai, originally distributed 

through Japan’s famous capsule toy 

(Gachapon) machines.

Naturally, PEZ is celebrating the 30th 

anniversary in style. The festivities 

begin this year with an impressive new

 full-body Pikachu dispenser, 

with more exciting surprises expected 

throughout the year.

 

To see the first images, however, we will all 

need a little more patience. Today, we simply

 take this opportunity to congratulate Pokémon

 on its 30th birthday.

Japan’s PEZ Magic! New Sanrio PEZ × Hapidanbui Collectibles...

Probably in no other country are as many

 PEZ licenses granted as in Japan.

 Our Japanese PEZ collector friends are able to

the wait is finally over, 

the PEZ Alien has officially landed in America.

Updates to the Super Mario PEZ Line!

When March 17, 2026 arrives and the world
 turns green once again, 
with Irish music filling the air, Saint Patrick's Day

Since 2021, it has become a tradition for PEZ to join 
the festivities with a special themed dispenser, 
always featuring that unmistakable green
touch collectors love.

This year is no exception!

Of course, no new mold will be introduced, instead, 

PEZ has opted to creatively rework an existing dispenser.

And as every seasoned collector knows, 

PEZ wouldn’t be PEZ if they didn’t manage 

to surprise us with something unexpected.

We are genuinely excited about the idea and
 concept behind this release. 

The surprise factor will definitely be there!

Easter 2026

Halloween, Christmas, and Easter are cornerstone 
dates in the PEZ collector calendar, occasions when 
we can usually count on a very special 
online exclusive release.

Over the past few years, 
Easter releases have certainly kept our pulse racing. 

This year, PEZ is already offering three brand-new 
Easter eggs in the standard easter PEZ assortment.

 might assume another egg is on the way.

We can now reveal: there will definitely not 
be an egg as this year’s online exclusive Easter dispenser.

That’s all we’re saying for now, but rest assured, 
PEZ has prepared something truly charming once again.

Presenter Girl #12 Is Coming!

Collectors of the beloved Presenter Girls series should
 make room in their displays, something new is on the way.

The Presenter Girls collection has grown
 to 11 different variations, featuring a wide 

range of colors and design elements. 
And this year, the family expands once more.

Number 12 is already waiting in the wings and 
will soon be available online. 

As with previous releases, high demand, and perhaps 
a bit of collector hysteria, is almost guaranteed.

All of this is coming very soon!
The anticipation is building, and as always,

Hidden Treasure! The Rare MFG Promotional PEZ Puck Dispenser from Germany...

In our beloved PEZ hobby, exciting surprises

 are almost a daily occurrence. 

Whether it’s outstanding dispensers, 

cool PEZ merchandise, or special PEZ candies,

news travels at lightning speed online.

 

But then there are those pieces we don’t immediately

 see or even know about, 

items that remain hidden for years. 

And that brings us back to the true magic of collecting: 

the unexpected discovery.

Today, we have exactly such a surprise for you. 

Until now, we had never encountered this 

particular dispenser, yet it dates back to 2021! 

How did you manage to stay hidden for so long?

This piece will make not only PEZ dispenser 

collectors widen their eyes, 

but candy collectors as well. 

 

The item in question is a PEZ Promo Merch Puck 

produced for 

MFG Technik & Service, 

mounted on a short PEZ blister card 

and accompanied by two MFG-branded PEZ candy refills

MFG Technik & Service is a German company

 specializing in a wide range of laser technologies.

 According to their marketing department,

 this exceptional piece was commissioned in 

2021 in a limited run of approximately 500 units. 

It was created as a classic promotional gift for MFG’s customers.

 

With such a small production quantity, 

released several years ago and already 

distributed exclusively to MFG’s clients, 

acquiring one today will be extremely difficult, 

perhaps close to impossible.

Still, we simply had to introduce this dispenser to you,

 even if it may remain a dream piece for many collectors.

Fresh Off the Line: The Newest PEZ Dispensers You Need Now! Bluey, Treats and Easter PEZ are here!

We were already at the starting line, 

barely able to contain our anticipation 

for PEZ Candy Inc. to finally release 

their latest novelties.

Today is the day, and they’ve delivered! 

The newest releases are here, and they’ve 

certainly given collectors plenty to celebrate.

All PEZ novelties launched today.

The New Bluey PEZ Line Has Arrived

We were genuinely surprised by this one!

Until now, only Bluey had been spotted in U.S. stores

 in the Easter section, and notably without Bingo

on the Easter egg. 

So when PEZ Candy Inc. launched both 

dispensers online today, excitement spread

 quickly through the community.

However, the excitement didn’t last long:

 the Bingo Easter Egg sold out almost immediately 

and disappeared from the online shop within moments.

This could turn into one of the key Easter challenges 

of the 2026 season, securing the Bingo egg 

for our collections.

 

Here’s a little tip we were given, check out Five Below!

 

But Easter is still some time away, so let’s remain

 optimistic that this fantastic piece will return 

to the official online store before the holiday.

 New Additions to the PEZ Treats Line!

While some of us may have hoped for 

different additions to the PEZ Treats assortment, 

these two new dispensers are still must-haves:

Cheese Pizza and Chocolate Sprinkles Donut

 

Naturally, they belong alongside the rest of 

the PEZ Treats lineup in any serious collection.

 No Treats series display would be complete without them. 

We’ve also attached the current 

PEZ Treats pictorial for reference. 

The brand-new Full-Body PEZ Easter Bunny has 

already been available online since last week. 

If you haven’t secured yours yet, now is the time, 

don’t forget to add it to your order before it hops away 

 

Another highlight this year is the PEZ Easter 

Tube Egg featuring a blue bunny and a yellow chick, 

offered online directly by PEZ Candy Inc.

PEZ at the 2026 ISM Trade Fair: All Images and the Special Giveaway for Visitors

The ISM

Internationale Süßwarenmesse in Cologne 

is far more than just another 

industry appointment. 

 

As the world’s largest trade fair for confectionery 

and snacks, it represents a central meeting point

 for the international food industry. 

Each year, the global sweets community gathers

 at the Cologne exhibition grounds to showcase innovations,

 initiate partnerships, and set the 

tone for the year ahead.

From February 1–4, 2026, PEZ once again 

made ISM a fixed date in its calendar. 

 

The objective was clear: 

establish new business relationships,

 present products in the spotlight of the global trade 

audience, and further strengthen networks 

within the industry. 

 

With a slight delay, we are pleased to present 

a closer look at the impressive PEZ booth. 

Spotlight on Innovation: 

PEZ Shock Headz Sour

Taking center stage this year was the exciting 

new product launch: Pez Shock Headz Sour.

 

The Shock Headz appear as bold, stylized skulls, 

design that immediately catches the eye. 

This skull motif is not only featured prominently

 on the packaging; the candies themselves

 are molded in matching skull shapes,

 reinforcing the edgy and distinctive concept.

 

Available in convenient 25 g bags, visitors

 could choose between two electrifying flavors:

 Electric Apple and Buzzing Strawberry. 

The combination of sour taste and striking skull

 design gives this line a strong shelf presence 

and clearly positions it toward a younger, 

trend-driven target group, while naturally sparking

 curiosity among collectors as well.

 

Of course, no PEZ trade fair appearance

Unlike the Sweets & Snacks Expo in the

 United States, where limited-edition PEZ dispensers

 (restricted to 1,000 pieces) 

are traditionally distributed, 

PEZ International opted for a different but 

equally stylish approach this year.

 

Visitors to the ISM booth received a high-quality 

stainless steel drinking bottle featuring 

the striking new Candy Pattern design. 

A practical yet collectible keepsake that perfectly 

combines branding and everyday functionality.
