Sonic the Hedgehog was first developed
by Sega and released in 1991 to compete
with Nintendo's mascot, Mario.
The game quickly became a cult classic,
along with its iconic
anthropomorphic blue hedgehog character.
After adding Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails
from the Sonic PEZ range to our collections in 2022,
more characters are on the way.
The sweet pink hedgehog Amy Rose, who has a crush on Sonic, is the latest
addition to the PEZ Sonic lineup.
While Amy is already available from
PEZ Candy Inc. in the USA (here)
Europe is still waiting for her to appear
in the PEZ International online shop.
We're all eagerly anticipating the upcoming
PEZ gift set,
featuring all four characters in crystal versions,
which will unfortunately only be available
in the USA.
The good news is that this collection
offers a complete series in both
normal and crystal versions,
unlike other lines like
My Little Pony and Paw Patrol PEZ.
Make room in your collections because
you'll soon be able to add five new dispensers
to your Sonic set in one go.
