We have previously reported about the turbulence around the
Japan PEZ gathering in the past.
There are different rumors and stories circulating around,
and we do not want to comment or to share any of them.
The Facts:
We have heard that many of our Japanese PEZ Collector friends
have been frustrated about the Japanese PEZ gathering.
No one got any information where or when the next
Japanese Gathering would be.
Another conflict was,
PEZ International made the dispenser for the Japanese gathering,
and it looks like the host no longer wanted the dispensers!
It looked very bad for all of us,
until now it was not clear what would happen,
and if the Japanese convention dispenser would
ever come out to our collector hands.
We are so happy to report about the
BIG CHANGES IN JAPAN!
And the most important,
THE DISPENSERS ARE SAFE!!!
Two big Collectors from Japan,
Toshihiro Sumi, a long time PEZ Collector, with an amazing Collection,
and his lovely assistant our dear
sweet sugar sugar ;) SHIHO
have decided to start something new,
and to bring the PEZ gathering fun back to Japan!
They are both working really hard to make the
1st PEZ community club come-together a success.
The event is now set to happen
November 4th 2018 in Tokyo, Japan!
So finally here it is, and we are so excited to share with you the
first pictures of the official JAPAN PEZ to mark the special occasion.
The purple crystal LOL'ing emoji is the official
mascot for most of the gatherings for 2018 and 2019.
Important note:
The website that is printed on the stem is incorrect because
the order for the PEZ was made long before the original scheduled event.
The new hosts had to start from scratch with the
planning and organization for the for the
PEZ community club come-together.
Instead of losing the PEZ that were made
they will be used for the new event.
