Surprisingly, the product rapidly sold out, 

turning it into a highly sought-after item. 

Numerous individuals on Facebook shared 

their success stories of successfully 

securing one despite the high demand.

 Then, on February 7th, 2024, 

they briefly returned to stock only to swiftly become 

officially retired!

Amidst my excitement in crafting these posts, 

I must confess to a tiny oversight. 

OK, a major one 😂

Ghosty is currently reveling in the picturesque

 mountains on a skiing adventure and hasn't been able 

to keep a close eye on my work.

😊 But fret not! I return with another post, 

and behold, you keen-eyed individuals 

have caught my slip-up! 

The Olympic Phryges don't just come in

one but TWO versions. 

It turns out that the dispensers 

boast their own unique 

smiles, logos, and even the French flag.

For us, this translates into a delightful quest 

for not one but two collectible dispensers. 

And as they say, two is always better than one!

Yesterday, our excitement soared to 

new heights when Gregory D. graciously 

shared the inaugural images of Les Mascottes—

the Phryges, the official mascots of the 

2024 Summer Olympics—on Facebook.

 We are overjoyed to exclusively unveil 

the very first official pictures of these 

charming mascots, and we couldn't be 

more thrilled to share them with everyone.

It's noteworthy that Phryges,

a masterpiece crafted by PEZ International,

where it will be distributed by the French distributor

and sold in regular grocery store channels.

Emphasizing its significance, 

Phryges proudly stands as the 

first Olympic dispenser created in four decades.

 Among cherished icons for collectors 

and enthusiasts like us, 

The Alpine Man from München 1972 , 

The Olympic Snowman from Innsbruck 1976,

 and the beloved Vucko Sarajevo 1984 from  

hold a special place in our hearts. 

Vucko, in particular,

 is a favorite among Pez Palz.

We've been without a PEZ dispenser for the Olympics 

for quite a stretch, not since 1984 – a whopping 40 years ago.

 Wow! Brace yourselves because the tide is turning in 

2024 with the introduction of the Phryges!

The official mascot for the 2024 Paris Olympics

 is all set to kick off in just 173 days.

As for the details, it's a bit of a mystery for now –

we're in the dark about how many will be available

or where you can snag one.

What we do know is this:

those adorable Phrygian caps are the

cherished mascots for the Paris 2024 Olympics,

crafted by none other than PEZ International in Europe.

Intricate Elegance: Jim Shore's Hand-Painted PEZ Ornaments are Quite the Show Stopper!

PEZ ornaments hold great popularity in our community, 

becoming a celebrated tradition each year. 

Following our recent introduction of this year's 

new models by Kat & Annie and Christopher Radko (here)

we are thrilled to announce a new addition to the 

beloved PEZ ornament lineup. 

Jim Shore, known for his style 

that evokes nostalgia through traditional themes, 

quilt patterns, and design motifs inspired by 

American and European folk art, 

brings forth four new PEZ ornaments this year.

Among the new additions is a delightful

 gingerbread house adorned with colorful treats. 

The entrance to the candy cottage 

is guarded by Santa Claus and a Snowman PEZ dispenser, 

with a PEZ sign hanging above the door. 

Another ornament features Santa 

carrying a toy bag filled with vibrant and 

unique holiday-themed PEZ dispensers. 

Santa himself holds a staff topped with a 

tree-shaped PEZ dispenser. Completing Jim Shore's range 

are a Santa PEZ ornament and a snowman ornament.

When we unveiled the first images of the new 

Barbie Pez

range to our communities last spring, 

there was an overwhelming wave of 

enthusiasm from collectors. 

The diverse range of new dispensers 

was universally loved by everyone. 

 In Europe, the anticipation grew as 

we eagerly awaited the chance to add

Bob and Faye Tipton have recently revealed the dates 

and registration information for the 

Northwest Winter Wonderland PEZ Convention. 

Set to take place at the 

Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center in 

Spokane Valley, WA, 

this local convention on the west coast 

brings a wave of excitement. 

We express our heartfelt gratitude to 

Bob and Faye for their remarkable dedication

 in orchestrating this event. 

Their efforts promise to create a truly memorable 

experience for all attendees.

ISM 2024 from Cologne, Germany. PEZ MyHead Takes Center Stage: A Sweet Spectacle...

 It has been an incredible four years 

since PEZ last participated in the ISM 

Confectionery Fair in Cologne, Germany,

 showcasing their products.

The ISM trade fair, held from 

January 28th to 31st in Cologne, Germany,

 draws attendees from all corners of the globe, 

with industry leaders from the confectionery

 sector in attendance. Naturally, PEZ 

couldn't miss out on this significant event.

This year marked a departure from 

previous editions, as PEZ designed their 

trade fair stand to create a buzz with 

their latest creative project. 

Through our images, we are delighted to

 transport you to Cologne, Germany and offer a 

glimpse of the impressive PEZ trade fair stand.

The spotlight was on the newest product from PEZ

which attracted a substantial number 

of trade fair visitors. 

This innovative product secured PEZ 

the third-place position in the 

iSM 2024 NEW PRODUCT Showcase Award.
