VIP is here with a big surprise...

I have not been very active on the blog lately because, as many of you know I am together with Willi and Yasin one of the 3 hosts of the VIP PEZ Gathering.

Over the past year we have been working hard to put the VIP2 gathering together and we are very proud and happy that after a very long time of  4 years of waiting we can kick off our second gathering as the biggest event in European PEZ gathering history with almost 130 PEZ heads representing 19 different countries. 

It was very interesting to hear what our guests have expected or wished, as our gathering dispenser to be and it was totally easy and clear. Everyone named the bride as first to be added in their collections. 

We kept our dispenser as a big secret till the last minute and finally the day has arrived to unveil a very special Girl. It is a wonderful clear crystal bride with red crystal hair and now our groom is not alone anymore.

Variation Alert- Hamm from the Toy Story 4 PEZ assortment...

Back in April we reported about the PEZ Toy Story 4 

assortment and that the characters release in 

Europe will vary from country to country. 

Variation collectors will be pleased to hear 

that Christian P. was lucky to find a new color 

variation of the Toy Story Hamm. 

The new Hamm has a noticeably brighter pink head.

NEW PEZ Polyester Pencil Cases...

As I'm aways looking for PEZ news, 

I recently discovered something great from Japan. 

We saw a lot of fantastic licensed staff from Japan in 

the past and soon we can extend our collections 

with some other stunning special features. 

More and more people around the globe are 

completely under the spell of the trendy surprise-collecting fever. 

Many of us were crazy about the tiny PEZ dispensers 

and candy pack from the ZURU Balls and in the near future we will be

 happy with the PEZ LOL surprise dolls, 

but even before that, in approximately ten days, 

our Japanese friends can look forward to 

new licensed PEZ polyester pencil cases. 

There will be five different pencil cases hidden in a 

plastic capsule with circa 7 centimeters in diameter. 

All pencil cases are artful and colorful and with different designs. 

We hope our Japanese friends will be so kind

 to help us to get them!

New Pictures and Video update about the PEZ Walmart Pick up dispenser.....

Back in November last year we 

shared the first picture on our blog.

Many questions and different opinions reached us, 

the one liked it, the others did not, and since then we have been 

patiently waiting for the release of the dispenser.

While at the beginning we had heard that the 

dispenser will be given out only to customers at the 

pick up tower stations, unfortunately 

these haven't yet appeared there.

What we know certainty is that the first give out of a 

few examples was at an associates meeting, and a 

few were spotted overpriced on Ebay some weeks ago.

But we also know that 100000 pieces were produced 

and even if we obviously need to be patient, 

they surely will find their way in the hearts of our collectors!

It's been ten years since the first Angry Birds game appeared.

The batlle of the angry birds against the stealng pigs,

which are loved by millions of people, is one of the most

succesful mobile games of all time.
In Addition to a variety of games, TV episodes and YouTube Clips,
 in 2016 also the first Angry Birds movie appeared.

Soon the Angry Birds 2 movie will hit the theaters around the globe,

and Red, Chuck and Bomb will be back with the game and

will be available as PEZ dispensers (Euro only).

Another new feature is the weird silver- both in the movie and in PEZ.

The 6th PEZ Portugal Gathering....

The 6th Portugal PEZ gathering in Castelo Branoco hosted 

by our dear friend Luís M. has begun!

We know that Luis always throws a great PEZ party with

fun games, great people, plus all the PEZ trading and selling.

It's time to introduce his gathering dispenser - this year he decided on the cute lady bug PEZ dispenser and had the stem printed with a great custom print and it comes in a nice gift box.

BREAKING NEWS! another color for the PEZ Candy Mascot dispenser?

It looks like PEZ wanted to surprise us!

Sorry PEZ Candy Inc., did not succeed ... ;)

...you know we have to share everything 

with our worldwide PEZ friends.

Somehow we were hoping for it and there is every reason, 

but that it would go so fast...

But from the beginning,

after about two weeks, the new candy Mascot dispenser 

(an official name does not yet exist) 

was introduced to all of us at the Sweets and Snacks Expo.

PEZ has developed a new mold for the dispenser for candy mascots. 

Whoever came up with the idea or was involved in the production process,

 you have done a wonderful and great job!

For the first time, PEZ has decided to go another way. 

One version of the dispenser was given out at the SS-Expo, 

the other version in a different packaging and without a print on the stem was produced for their online shop (PEZ.com) and the PEZ Visitor’s Center.

This means, it will be much easier for many PEZ collectors to get the second version (coming soon) as so far known.

Today we found a picture showing the dispenser 

in another color variation.

YAYYYY!!!

Discovered on display at the PEZ Visitor’s Center in Orange! 

And certainly we would all love to add this version also to our collections.

We are working to get more information about the new color and 

as soon as we know more, you will hear it here.

New US version of the Cacti PEZ show up at Sweeties AZ

Great News!

Our pal Jim D. has found the new US version of the cacti PEZ at Sweeties in AZ.  Sweeties always gets PEZ first so this is a good sign that they have started to ship and will hopefully be in more stores soon. 

The US version comes with Banana, Strawberry and Orange candy flavors while the Euro version will feature the new limited Lychee PEZ flavor.

Alright PEZ PALZ,

as announced last week, the new PEZ Candy Mascot dispenser,

 first presented last week at the Sweets and Snacks Expo,

will be available soon exclusively at the PEZ Visitor Center
and on US PEZ.com. 

Today we are happy to show you the dispenser on a new (different) card,

and without printing on the stem.

Hey PEZ we definitely want the dispenser in several colors! :)
