Globi

is a Swiss cartoon character often referred to as

Switzerland's Mickey Mouse. 

He is pictured as an anthropomorphic blue parrot with a yellow beak wearing a black beret and a pair of red and black checkered trousers.

 He was created by the Swiss cartoonist Robert Lips, as an advertising

character for the Swiss department store Globus in 1932 for the

company's 25th anniversary

 

 

They are now taking advance orders for delivery on (April 1st 2017)

However delivery can only be made to Switzerland & Lichtenstein.

Soon the Globi Pez arrives with us and for all lovers.

In addition, 2 Pez refills are included.

Today we have found something that is completely unexpected for us.

We all know about the

Tri-pack Box which was released last year, but today we now know there is also a brand new WALMART EXCLUSIVE twin pack available.

Pezpal Sean C. is the lucky one who has found them at Walmart, so do not hesitate and look around for the box :)

PEZ DC Super Hero's & Smurf's update

Today Chris Jordan of the Pez Collectors Store published her monthly news letter,  and now we have more information on what March 2017 holds in store for us collectors.   

We have a double pack coming for the new DC Super hero Girls which will include 

Super Girl & Harley Quinn 

Chris is reporting that these should start shipping on March 1st.

Scheduled to start shipping on March 1st is the fun new Smurfs gift set which features the click and play Smurfs set originally released in Europe in 2014, but what makes this even more unique is the gift set will come with a game board and fun packaging which is a really awesome idea, the tops from the click and play will be used as game pieces.  This is definitely a great concept for the click and play line, we hope to see more of this in the future.

The DC Super Hero girls are scheduled for March 2017 in the USA, as single dispenser and as a twin pack.

Europe will need to wait for them till July 2017, 

the European set will have printed PEZ play codes on the stems.

Wall of PEZ at Sweeties Candy of Arizona

During a trip earlier this month to Arizona I was able to make a stop in at Sweeties in Chandler, Arizona. This was quite a treat and something I was totally looking forward to when I found out we would have to travel to Arizona. We made a special trip up from Tucson just for the Sweeties experience. Having an opportunity to visit Sweeties while at Pezamania 2015 in Cleveland, visiting the one in Arizona was a must.  This Sweeties is owned and operated by the make great folks that run B.A. Sweeties in Cleveland. Everyone there was so nice and helpful, they had the new Smurfs, Power Rangers, Tons of Pez Candy and all the latest releases on the WALL OF PEZ. This is definitely a must stop if you are in the state.
