Happy Birthday to the Pez Visitors Center!!

The Pez visitors center in Orange, CT is turning 5 years old and to celebrate Pez has created a special limited edition visitors center Pez boy commemorating the event!!  The PVC will be selling them stating now but they will be limited to purchase one per person for $9.99, 5 of the special dispensers will go onto Ebay over the month of December and the money that is raised will benefit "The hole in the wall gang camp" located in Ashford, CT. All proceeds from the sale of the dispense will go to charity!

A Jolly Pezzy good time with Jessica & Juan...

With all of the gatherings happening around the world Jessica & Juan have opened their home to celebrate a wonderful Christmas gathering.

With a fun Christmas theme and familiar atmosphere Jessica is sharing the behind the scenes with us, Thank you Jessica!

The Christmas Pez Gathering all started by me wanting to hang out with Pezzy friends and my husband wanting to show everyone the amazing Christmas Decorations/lights he puts up every year... 4 years later here we are going on 
The 4th Christmas PEZ Gathering!!!

The 4th Annual Christmas Pez Gathering is just a few short days away. This year has gone by so fast. I'm so excited that it is almost here! I've been working like crazy to make sure I have everything ready to go! 

The Official Gathering is on December 3rd at 4:00pm.... The Christmas Gathering is always on the first Saturday of December. But on the Friday before the gathering everyone who is in town meets up and goes to dinner then we head back to my house to sit by the fire pit and just hang out.

I've been packing up all the gathering packs and putting together all the bingo prizes. We are having an extra round of bingo this year that has some sweet pez in it!

We start out the gathering by everyone setting up any pez they brought to sell and then we eat street tacos that I have had catered for the party :) I also make a bunch of different types of cookies and sweets. 

We have an endless supply of drinks and food all night long. 

There is always a door prize to give away and this year it is an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. The person who has the

UGLIEST Christmas Sweater 

will win the door prize and boy oh boy is it a cool prize! 

We also play a game called the White Elephant game.

Everyone attending the gathering must bring a Pezzy gift with a 15 dollar value or higher and wrap it up all pretty but don't put a tag on it... 

By the end of the game everyone will have a new pez gift to take home with them.

also play BINGO!!! You have to have bingo at a pez gathering! We usually have 4 rounds of bingo and 1 mega bingo.... But this year We are going to do 4 regular rounds of bingo 1 mega bingo and 1 super special amazing bingo!!!!!

I wish I could win these prizes!!!! It gets pretty intense once people start winning and opening up their bingo bags to see what they have won😉

After all the games are done we all just hang out and talk and laugh the night away. We sit outside by the fire pit and catch up on what's happening in everyone's life.

Christmas is my favorite time of year and I'm so thankful that I get to bring some Christmas Joy into other Pezhead's lives🎄

Official 2017 Pez Emojis from Pez International

Today from Pez International we have the official photo of the 2017 Emoji's. The only new addition to the set is "Chillin" (unofficial name) LOL'ing, Love & Happy were part of the 2015 USA Release.

FINALLY, the new POWER RANGERS are here!

The first time we saw them on display was at the Sweet and Snacks Expo in 2015, yes we have waited really long, but the waiting was worth it.  

Now we have 3 new dispensers,

 Jason the Red Ranger
Zack the Black Ranger
 and Kimberly the Pink Ranger 

(Released in the USA only) 

The Power Rangers were introduced for the first time in 1993 on Television,

 and now they made it into PEZ dispensers.

We are happy to have a new release by the end of the year, and a Christmas gift for our collections :)

 The power ranger sets have been found at AC Moore stores in the US.

Super Mario Pez two new dispensers *Now available*

As we previously reported,

two new PEZ dispensers will be added to the Nintendo MARIO Set,

Donkey Kong,

today PEZ International surprised us with a first look picture, and now we can see the full set, and what the two new ones will look like.

When we got the news that Donkey Kong will be added to the line up, we were wondering if he would look like, like the mini Donkey Kong from the Japan mini series, now we can see PEZ has not used the same mold, small changes have been made, and we cant wait to find them :)

New Pez Emoji for the 2017 lineup

Pez International posted this fun picture on Facebook yesterday, and we immediately noticed this emoji from a earlier report in 2016 from Chris Jordan of http://www.pezcollectors.com/.  These 3 will be added to the Euro lineup for 2017.  The new emoji is chillin' with sunglasses.  Lol'ing and Happy were introduced in the states in 2015.

New PEZ Sparefroh (2016) Pez variation discovered

Friend of Pez Palz Günter H. discovered a new
Sparefroh
varitaion!

Now Sparefroh has a more defined collar,
new patent number,
unpainted soles
plus a new card!


While this is a small change it is enough of a change for us to go crazy looking for it! The Sparefroh is character that was developed to encourage childern to save money.

Now in Stores New Pez Wawa Rig 2016

UPDATE-  Wawa trucks are now being spotted in stores and on eBay!!

A New Wawa truck was spotted on display at the Pez Visitors Center in Orange, Connecticut earlier this week. Expected to be for sale in select Wawa stores in fall of 2016.  It appears to have Santa and his reindeer flying over the moon. This will be the 5th addition to the Wawa fleet of rigs.  Wawa is described as a gas and convenience store chain located on the east coast of the USA.

Pez collectors everywhere will be looking towards PEZcific Coast Convention in 2017. Not only for the latest Pez finds, but this year they are hosting a Charity Pez Art Contest...with proceeds going to a great cause.

Q: What is "Create! Donate! Celebrate!"?

This is an exciting opportunity for artists to donate their artwork to charity, get amazing recognition for their talents...oh and get a chance to WIN Pez prizes.

This year's theme is simply:

PEZ

Artwork can be in any medium; Paint, woodworking, fabric...you name it. This event offers artists, guests and even the dealers a chance to participate.

Q: Why an Art Contest?

There are some really talented Pez artists out there. You've seen them on Facebook and at conventions. There must be dozens more that we don't even know about. Their talent deserves to be seen...and appreciated.

Imagine an Art Gallery filled with amazing PEZ creations. Guests can then walk around and choose their favorites. Afterwards, guests will have the opportunity to bid of these amazing pieces during the Live / Silent auction - with all the proceeds going to charity!

Q: What can the Artists win?

You'll like this. We're excited to announce that the winning artists will win PEZcific shopping sprees.

First Place - $100, Second - $50 and Third - $25. The Shopping Sprees are good at ANY dealer attending PEZcific. (Room hopping just got a little sweeter)

We also have the PEZcific Choice Award...this is where convention guests decide the winner.

Winners of all prize awards will be announced Friday evening, during Pez Bingo.

Q: What about artists that cannot attend?

Great news! For artists unable to make it to PEZcific in 2017, we're happy to announce that their shopping spree prize will be via PEZ5150. View more by visiting http://www.snowcrest.net/tina/. Tina Gunsauls has a wonderful PEZ selection to choose from. 

Q: What are the 2 important things to know before entering?

1. Artists must complete the official entry form, available by e-mail.

Artist may enter up to 2 entries, but each piece

requires it's own entry form.

2. Deadline to receive ALL entries is January 31, 2017. Walk-in entries will not be accepted.

Q: Why a January 31st deadline?

We'll need to know how many pieces are entered well before the convention. Plus we need to create the listings, take photos of each piece, and create the guest voting sheets. For this reason, all entries must be mailed in advance.

Q: Where does the money go to?

The charity is Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, which benefits children with cancer and their families. For more details, please visit http://rmhcsc.org/camp/.

Q: Any last words?

I would LOVE to receive entries from all over the world. Japan, Israel, England, Spain, Austria...can you imagine the beautiful work submitted? This Art Contest is about having fun - and being creative.
