the man behind the Michigan PEZ Convention, started last year right after his first very successful Convention

with the work for his second event in 2017.

It's always hard to top the first event,

but today we are super happy to report,

and to show you the EXCLUSIVE VERY FIRST LOOK

what Jim conjures up for the

2nd annual MICHIGAN PEZ CONVENTION
which will be held 

August 24-27 2017,

and for sure he will rock it!!

 

In 2016 Jim has introduced the MI mascot, a dapper man sporting a top hat.
He featured on 6 different colored dispensers, each representing
something different. The highlight of these dispensers was their magnetic centerpiece, which allowed the centers to be swapped between the other stems.

For this year, Jim is excited to introduce someone new, the mascot's wife <3
This years design was again drawn by the amazing talented Eddie Santiago.

This free-spirited hippie chick will also be featured
on a series of 6 different dispensers in new shades.
Not only the 2017 dispensers have the same magnetic centerpieces as 2016, but they will also be interchangeable with all
MIPEZCON dispensers from both years!

Like last year, special early Registration will be available

for 2 DAYS ONLY
(Tuesday January 17th & Wednesday January 18th)

Jim is planning to bring back many of the fun activities yet again for all to enjoy, such as the bean bag tournament, live auction, silent auction, swap party, and VIP Dinner party, he is excited to announce some changes to this year's agenda:

The Bean Bag Tournament is a repeat from last year
 but will be returning in a new format

THE PEZ MALL it's time to show the general public how we really do PEZ convention by room hopping.

Jim have continued also the partnership with Camp Lake Louise, providing a healthy and rewarding experience to underprivileged children that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to do.

The 2nd Michigan PEZ Convention will be again held at the Embassy Suites located at 850 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan 48098.

First German PEZ Gathering...Program and Registration Info now released...

Like most of you know, Uwe's first German PEZ Gathering will have the last crystal Emoji PEZ dispenser from the 2016 release.

The dispenser was made in 2016 for Uwe's 2017 Gathering
and the stem has the lettering

"1. PSD"

and the venue

 "Hamm"

were included and furthermore a piece of the ensign of the city Hamm.

PEZ International produced 200 pieces of these dispensers

Sadly to report, Europe will not have any other made by
PEZ Convention dispenser in 2017.

 Registration's for the first German PEZ Gathering will start on

January 15th on pez-kult.de

and the program that Uwe has prepared sounds great.

 Uwe is offering also a limited Edition Absentee packages, all the Infos about registration and absentee packs can be found on

New Euro Pez packaging for Santa & Rudolph

Popping up on the Pez International site late last year is a re-release of Santa with loop in a green egg and Christmas gift set with Santa & Rudolph, the box is a new design.

Pez Plush Bears found in poly bags

We would like to Thanks Eric F. for letting us know that he found these Pez plush bears at Rite-Aid stores in the Valentines section, We know of 3 different types of bears. We were able to find them at Toy's R Us in the front of the store with the candy near the registers priced at $1.99 each. This will be the first time we have seen these plush bears in poly bags.

The new year is starting with a wonderful PEZ release for us.

back to the stores <3 again.

The Smurfs created by the belgish Artist Peyo (Pierre Culliford)

in 1958 for the belgish Maganzin Spirou, will be 

the 3rd (without ClickNPlay) PEZ Smurf edition and the new

and the

Smurf Boy

will be loved by Kids, and by their parents too :)

While Europe need to wait for the release till February/March,

our USA Collectors will find them soon in the shops.

Michigan Pez Convention Update from Jim Blaine-

We hope everyone is have fun getting ready for the Christmas season... who doesn't love the holiday craziness!!! 😝

Here is some tentative details:

The Michigan Pez Convention is set for August 24-27, 2017 (agenda is being worked on)

We have decided to wait on opening up the registration till after the new year, but MIPEZCON2 is defiantly on! We have a bunch of fun planned for the next convention and can't wait to share the details!!!

Dealers: If you were a dealer last year... you will have the first option to register, and we plan to give you the option to register for the the room you had last year! Then we will open it up to new dealers!! (The plan for next year has changed a little, and we think you are going to LOVE the new plan!!)

Attendees & absentees: We plan again on doing a special first day registration ... so in order to get the special dispenser plan on registering the first day!!

The charity dispenser will again be offered at the time of registration.

We have made some changes for next year, but we think that the new changes will create an even more exciting event!!

We have worked out most of the details with the hotel, and the hotel has agreed to honor last years rates! This is huge!!! Since the hotel offers AN AMAZING FREE BREAKFAST & FREE (alcoholic) DRINKS & SNACKS EVERY NIGHT!

We are working on something special for the Pez kids too!!

The bean bag tournament will return next year... so start practicing!
