Almost Full..

Filling in the racks took longer than first thought.  However most of it is done so, now that a lot are now put away for a while it’s time to order another cabinet.  Thought I would share some quick pic’s of what is done so far.  None of the holiday’s would fit and i am still waiting to find those damn Baseball hats! Mario and Monsters are in the mail from Slovenia.  Still dont know how many all together.

Could it be MLB Hats (in a real store) ?

Last night we went to the mall here in Salem and went to the “Candy Tyme” store.  On the wall of Pez was 4 MLB hats SF, Yankees, Mets, & LA and only 4.  I would have loved to get more but the girl working said thats all they got (which doesn’t make sense) 4 total? but that’s what she said.  So they have shipped, however at this point looks like it may be hard to buy a complete set in a store.  Good Luck keep looking! If you have seen them in a store somewhere please post in comments.  

Load in Looming

Everything is built, painted, installed and touched up.  After not getting the rails I ordered in a timely manner it was time to matters into my own hands.  These risers were built first they’re just 1X2’s just stacked and nailed together (I’m no carpenter).  To create the rail part, square dowels were placed on top of cut popsicle sticks and nailed, fairly simple actually! Painted in flat black paint and now no dominoes! Now just waiting for the paint to dry. 

Eve of Load in 2.0

After taking a poll on Facebook the results are in.  Since my cabinet is being made over again, I was wondering how people like to display their collections.  I prefer to keep variations together while it looks like the majority like to keep the sets together.  Load in 2.0 starts tomorrow, one more night of building and then loading begins. Check back later for photos.

Mad Craft Woman at Work!

Ok, so this is nuts!  I ordered these Pez rails from a guy in Canada but after, him or his wife (they blamed each other) kept telling me next week, next week for 4 weeks I finally got a refund.  Now the options were spend 20 bucks for 48 inches worth of track ($350 worth) or try and build my own.  So, building my own seemed like the right thing to do.  Anyway that leaves more money for Pez right? Out they all come and time to make a add on to the risers I previously built.  Nails glue and some wood.  Will post the result of this experiment soon! 

Here Kitty Kitty......

So being out of the loop for a couple years is costing my husbands wallet dearly... (((((Thanks Sweetie)))))  Finding some dispensers that only came out a couple years ago is proving impossible.  These Kitties below have become so hard to find or seem way overpriced.  Like this lunchbox I have only been able to track down at one store Zap Sweets and they cannot ship to the USA.  The other kitties are on Ebay for $75. OUCH! Does anyone out there know where to find these?

What the HECK!?!

Today we went down to Eugene to pick up a PEZ collection.  While it contained 28 santa's, it also had this older Panda & Snowman.  While down there we checked out several antique stores and yes lightening can strike twice! The antique store yielded Mr. Ugly who is in pretty nice shape.  Now this has never happened before... EVER! 4 older Pez in one week!?!
