PEZ has come up with a totally innovative concept for L.O.L. Surprise,
the PEZ dispenser head is hidden inside the pack.

/sigh As a package collector, this series is going to suck. If they all have the same stem color, I'd basically just have to have one on card and open a bunch for the set.

While we do not have an official confirmation yet that they will be in the USA, it is a really good chance at least some of the nine will make it store shelves is the states!

ReplyDeleteThis is terrible. I've collected for 22-23 years, and had fun with it. This past year, with the frickin' Funko versions and now this.... I dunno. The fun is gone. It might be time to hang it up and sell off my collection. I understand variations, but what I have always liked about Pez was that you could find what you needed, eventually. I have all the original Ninja Turtles and trucks. I carried a list in my wallet for months/year. But this? Luck of the draw. I'm out. There is no joy in opening the same things 10 times looking for the one you are missing.

DeleteNooooo... Please don't leave us :( It seems like the long time collectors are losing interest which is breaking my heart I know the pops have been a real rollercoaster. These loop boxes are a fad I hope. News from ISM is in just a few more hours so fingers crossed we have better news to share soon. Love you guys!
DeleteYou know what might be a fun post/discussion? WHY we collect and what we love/hate about it and the current heading. I really like how the dispensers are more timely recently, allowing for "The Hunt" more often. However, I feel like something important is different now.
DeleteI'd love to talk more directly with other collectors. I am the only person I know in real life that collects Pez, but I know lots of people that collect POP, so we do have some crossover.
