With Paula & Alex at the 2nd PEZ Gathering in Barcelona...

Hi Pezpals, we are so happy to share with you a little summary from the

2nd Barcelona PEZ gathering,

which was written by our dear friends PAULA & ALEX

here we go:

 We landed at Barcelona early in the morning from our holiday, we are expecting to have an awesome day.

We have been waiting so much for this day to come so the jet lag was not going to be an obstacle to enjoy the gathering. 

The gathering was held on Saturday 1st October. It was the second edition of the Barcelona Gathering and the 2nd gathering this year in Spain.

The weather was really nice, it was a sunny day despite of the rain forecast.

The Gathering was located in the courtyard success from the beginning!

It was a new opportunity to meet new collectors and get

together with old friends.

Not only there were more attendees than last year but also they came from many different countries. 

After a short wait, the doors opened at 4pm and we all started preparing the tables to buy/sell/trade dispensers.

As always, we are so excited at the beginning watching the dispensers on the tables looking around to get the best deal and not miss out.

The event was already going on then, David began to give the

sets personally one by one.

Each set contained the official dispenser

made by Pez, a T shirt, a poster and two tickets for games/raffles.

The Barcelona dispenser 2016 is the well known emoji sitting

on a white stem and black letters.

We all knew before the Convention what the dispenser looked like but nevertheless we were equally excited to get it on our hands.

We had time to walk around to all the tables, chat with friends, share moments and also meet a lot of new members who give some advice and recommendations in this pezzing crazy world that they were getting into. 

By mid afternoon, all the games and raffles started. David and his family had prepared activities for attendees who had registered for the event.

The first game was guessing how many candy packs were in a bowl.

Frederika was the best at guessing and she really came close to the result, Christina remained second and third winner was one of the new collectors. 

The second game was so much fun. You had to prove your skills and fill the dispenser as quick as possible. Some of the collectors were really fast but Alex and I were a completely disaster. There were different rounds made down to 4 finalists from which came the winner that was Federika again.

It was without doubt, 

Frederika´s day. 

The last activities prepared were two raffles. All prizes went to the city of Valladolid.

Pilar and Hector were the lucky ones.

We got nothing on the raffles again :)

About 7:30, we began to pick everything up for dinner and went to a restaurant near to the event. A large table was prepared. There were talks and laughs with an excellent meal. Nothing better to end up a great day.

We want to thank David and his family for all the effort they put to organize this event one year more here in Barcelona and we hope that the coming years are equally successful.
