The 9th Swedish PEZ Gathering....

Sadly the 9th Swedish PEZ gathering is over, it was a full day with super great PEZ friends and a lot of PEZ fun, but PEZ time goes always to fast :)

Like always, I was super chaotic, started to pack my
extra PEZ for the gathering some hours before we left for our trip.
We had booked the hotel just one day before arriving in Stockholm.
I don't know how you manage that all, but my days are
always too short for everything :D

 

All went fine, and my wife and I arrived Friday in the morning in Stockholm.
We had a Hotel in the heart of Stockholm, lots of good Shops, and nice bars were around our Hotel.

The funny thing, we got our Room over a Candy Shop :D
and this was the first place where I have found PEZ later that day.

After a perfect breakfast, we started our Stockholm
(the capitol of Sweden) tour.
Stockholm is spread across 14 Islands, and I need to say this is a super cool City, lot of beautiful places, very nice old buildings, and many Museums to visit.

 

Sweden is very successful in music.
Lots of great songwriters and good musicians come from Sweden.
Sweden has won 6 times the European Song Contest, and
Roxette, ABBA ruled the world with their music.
 

We decided to visit the
ABBA Museum.
It was a very nice and fun Museum, you are involved to do a
ABBA Karaoke, to make a funny ABBA Video, and lot of other things.
The Museum has also lot of ABBA original Costumes, Prizes, Letters, and Tourmerchandies, and its not just interested for ABBA Fans.

The place around the ABBA museum is great to visit too,

the Vasa Museum (Vasa the world's only preserved 17th century ship)
a Zoo and a nice amusement park are just located next to the ABBA museum.

After a full walking day, we enjoyed our dinner, and a nice
sauna evening at our Hotel.

Saturday the big Gathering day... 
 

We arrived at 9:30 am at the gathering, and were warm welcomed
from every site. It's always so nice and fine to meet and see our friends again, and to make new friendships.

Patrik and Anders did a good job,
to bring us all together, and to organize a nice small and familiar gathering.

After our PEZ talks, we started to fill our selling tables and the table for all my extra PEZ was mostly full :) 

As we worked on our table, Patrik brought us our goddiebag, full of nice PEZi stuff, and YES the SWE "lovey" dispenser was included.

Patrik and Anders kept the secret, how the dispenser (stem) will look like
till the end, and wanted to share the surprise with all the gathering guests. 
 

 

The day went super fast, a fun quiz, Bingo, buying, trading, PEZ talks, and the traditional great Swedish gathering cake filled the day.

All in one a super nice and perfect PEZ day in Sweden, got many cool and new pieces for my Collection and can't wait to return next year to celebrate with all my PEZ friends the 10th anniversary for the Swedish PEZ gathering.
